Pantene’s new Spokeswoman!

Last week it was announced that Zooey is the new spokeswoman for Patene. They released her welcome advertisement and an on set interview. Feminine, fun-loving Zooey Deschanel, whose signature blunt bangs and quirky vintage wardrobe have inspired style makeovers across the country, is joining Pantene’s growing list of A-list celebrity ambassadors. The Golden Globe and Grammy nominated performer will appear in the brand’s newest campaign supporting the Pantene Beautiful Lengths collection beginning in August 2012. Deschanel will appear in all elements of the brand’s holistic marketing campaign, including TV and print advertising, in-store displays, iMedia and public relations outreach.

“I am so excited to be a part of the Pantene family. Anyone who knows me knows that I am really into hair. I’m a real girly girl and love doing my hair and experimenting with different styles,” said Deschanel. “Being a ‘Pantene girl’ has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. It is really amazing to be representing the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Collection, the products are fantastic and Pantene also supports the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program which is a wonderful cause. Pantene is helping to provide confidence and beautiful real-hair wigs to women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment; you can’t put a price on that.”

Deschanel is well-known for her indie band She & Him and her roles in 500 Days of Summer and Elf. Recently, Deschanel stole all of our hearts with her hilariously loveable portrayal of Jess, the leading lady in FOX’s smash hit, New Girl. Deschanel’s talents don’t end there; she is also a co-creator and frequent contributor to the popular lifestyle blog Hello Giggles that provides funny, trendy, and inspirational content for thousands of readers every day.

Hi Zooey,

I just want to say that, your amazing. I don’t know how you do what you do but its simply because your…. amazing. I wish we could have met before you got famous, just so we would be able to be good friends. I believe we are a lot alike. Sounds stupid to read im sure. Your probably like… this kid thinks he knows me pahaha, haha. ha. Anyway. Your so amazing because you do what you want, and your different than most everbody, and you can pull it off so well with your confidence. And your wierd, or in other words like i said not like other people. To sum it all down, your just Fun. I like that so much about you. Your movies are the best, you have great character, you have great music. Your music symbolizes, Happiness, and how it should be played out, and fun. I feel like, just by looking in your eyes, that you have all the life in the world, in your eyes. thats how i can tell your just like me, by looking in your eyes, the way act or look at people or carry about your self. I know you probably think im crazy for saying i can read your eyes. but i can, with everybody. But yours, im just drawn too. Somehow, its not your looks, its not just because your music and movies, although its part of it. its you, how i can somehow get sense of how You are in person. Although, itd be amazing to Really see your eyes in person, thatd be great. It’d be great just to spend time and be good friends with you. Or to just simply call you and have a conversation. Thats what i would want more than ever, just a phone call. But, hahaha, who am i kidding, you probably wont even read this comment. And the thought in the back of your head is probably ha, this kid thinks if he were to say that, he’d get noticed..no lol this is just the only way i know to contact you though.
